Driving Instructor Websites - Lesson 1 (Part 2) Meta Tags

Part 2 - Indexing

Meta Title, Description and Keywords Tags
Now we have a Robots tag, Google will now crawl the website and index you in the search engine but we want Google to index you for a particular phrase! For example "driving lessons london" or "driving instructors london"

When Google crawls your website it looks at three things the 'Title', "Descritption" and 'Keywords Tag' We need to get the phrases you want your website to be found for in these tags. This is an example of how these tags would look if you are driving instructor in leicester:

<title>Cheap Driving lessons Leicester, driving schools Leicester, driving instructors Leicester</title>

<meta name="Description" content="Welcome to Bertys Speedy Pass. We are a professional driving school in leicester offering cheap driving lessons in leicester from our patient driving instructors in Leicester.">

<meta name="Keywords" content="Driving lessons leicester, cheap driving lessons leicester, Cheap Driving lessons, driving instructors leicester, driving, lessons, instructors"/>

Berty's Speedy Pass is an example one of my clients that ranks position 1 if you type 'cheap driving lessons leicester' notice when you type driving lessons leicester into Google in the Search results you will see the 'Title Tag' in blue with the 'Description Tag' underneath both containing the target keywords.

Don't over do it with placing keywords within your title and description tag because it can have a negative effect on your site and is often referred to as 'keyword stuffing' try and stick to 2 or 3 key phrases per page.
