Anyone using QR code stickers on their cars & can you change the information generated by them?

Re: QR Codes

Thanks Robbie, found where I can get them but you should be able to manage what appears when you scan it. You can have a website - specific page, FB page, phone no, special offer etc. Not sure how to manage the content so of anyone knows!

Re: QR Codes

Sticker on the side of your car, scan with a smart phone & it will direct you straight to the relevant information - website, mobile no, FB page etc.

Re: QR Codes

If you have a smartphone, you can download a free QR code reader or it may have one already installed.

Activate the reader, hold it over my Avatar on this screen and it will direct you to my website.

Instead of a weblink, you can create a QR code to tell the customers phone to call your number,or the reader could read your code and have all your contact details, prices and other information stored on their phone.

Use it on everything, business cards, your car, posters, keyrings anything you like!

Re: QR Codes

I've never tried using one yet, have wondered about them and how popular they are?

Re: QR Codes

Didn't bother in the end, speaking to our tech guy he said that any mud or dirty on the sticker would change the code & make it useless so a sticker on the outside of a car doesn't sound like a great idea any more!
