Re: Proton Gen 2 EcoLogic

It's very tempting, and a nice car to look at (quite BMW 3 series from some angles), but I've looked at a couple that have done 30k ish and they are totally knackered inside. The interiors just can't take much wear as the plastics are so cheap and the coloured finishes just wear-off in cars that are otherwise immaculate.

Re: Proton Gen 2 EcoLogic

Had a proton few years ago, gets knackerd quickly and engine went in the end with loads of oil leaks, that was a few years ago so they could be a whole lot better now.

Skoda were the bottom of the pile once but they have come up a lot.

Em had a few over the years including MPI pa couple of personas, sold one with 120000 on to taxi company, that did another 600,000 miles not a typo.
Never had any problems with them, pupils loved them, but no street cred

Hate the fiesta I have now
