Here's the poster for the event, it's in the form of a PDF. It's yet to go up in the test centres so if anyone at all has any suggestions on corrections or ways of improving it I would welcome any ideas.

To make it easier to view (but low quality), here's a quick snapshot of the poster :

Hi,

What number of ADIs are you hoping to attend and how are ticket sales going for this as I would have thought local ADIs would be snapping them up?

Re: Ian Edwards Coaching Course Nottingham Early October.

We're going to put the posters in the 2 Nottingham test centres and advertise as best as possible and see what happens.

Thinking about it, we have a maximum figure of 18 which is set by Ian Edwards for the course - don't think we'll have any trouble getting 18. So it'll have to be a first come first served until we hit 18 people. I think we have about 6 confirmed already.

According to the DSA we can't advertise in test centre's if it's for commercial gain, this was stopped in the North West.

I've heard this (understandably) in relation to why a driving instructor can't advertise their business, but it's the DSA that want us to do CPD so would be surprised if they had an issue with CPD courses being advertised. Most of the posters in our test centre are CPD or memberships for associations - no member of DING makes any commercial profit, in fact complete opposite as the charge is to cover costs with any loss subsidised by DING.

We have to get permission to put the posters up though, just run it past the SE.

Re: Ian Edwards Coaching Course Nottingham Early October.

We (DING) have a very good relationship with the local Test Centres and they seem to encourage local training and the TCM is fine with what we are doing including advertising as a Association and  as Rob says its not all about profit.

Re: Ian Edwards Coaching Course Nottingham Early October.

It was excellent, really, really useful! I've got his book too and that is really good, but not finished it yet. I'm now experimenting with all the different techniques in my lessons, going well so far but think it's going to take me a while to really get the hang of it all. Makes lessons a lot more interesting now I have all these new ideas to play around with.
