forum use cpd?

During my pt 3 training i was a member of blaine walsh site. on that forum it was listed that time contributing to instruction topics could be logged printed and used as cpd is there any reason the same could not be done on this site.
I presume proof from site would be needed. Also does only paid for training count as cpd.
Thanks

Under the competency framework, it is permissible to spend time on the internet carrying out desktop research.  This would probably come under Elective and all you need to do is enter the details of the forum and how long you spent time on discussions.

It does not matter if you have paid or not, so long as you meet the criteria for prescribed and/ or elective amount of hours.

Re: forum use cpd?

The DSA has put plans to make CPD compulsory on the back burner, so recording visits to forums etc as cpd is a waste of time.

Go into your  Profile and then click on General Statistics For This Member to get written proof of time spent on here as well as topics contributed to, although as R.M. says it has been put on the burner ( or so it seems ).
