theory test

Hi. I have a car pupil who drives a 125cc and wants to take his bike test when he has passed his car one. He wonders, and so do I, if he has to take a separate bike theory. I told him that I thought he would as they would have questions more pertinent to bikes but I would be grateful for some clarification.

Re: theory test

Yes he does. I did mine a year ago  smile

You will need to take a theory test if you want a licence for a new category of vehicle, for example, if you have a car licence and you want a motorcycle licence you will need to take a theory test.
