If you're going to cut 'n' paste advice from another site...

At least read it and make sure it's suitable. Notice anything about this advice:

"Fuel Saving Tips

Whatever car you are driving the chances are you can squeeze a bit more distance out of each gallon of fuel -- and at today's fuel prices, an improvement of just one or two miles per gallon (MPG) can really add up.

These fuel saving tips can help you improve your car's fuel economy and take some of the sting out of high fuel prices. Most of these tips will give you a very slight increase in MPG -- but use several together and the gas mileage improvements will really add up.

1. Slow down

One of the best ways to save gas is to simply reduce your speed. As speed increases, fuel economy decreases exponentially. If you one of the "ten-over on the freeway" set, try driving the speed limit for a few days. You'll save a lot of fuel and your journey won't take much longer. (Just be sure you keep to the right, so you won't impede the less-enlightened.)"

This wouldn't be some sort of sly reference to the differences between us and those cousins of ours on the other side of the pond - you know, two peoples divided by a common language (and their erroneous understanding of the correct side of the road?)

It's American and the grammar is poor with an "are" and an "at" missing from the text.  No one cares these days so the poster gets an A*.  smile

Refers to 'stick shifting' also in the article.  More like cbacars.

Cool, so to save fuel, I slow down a bit and drive on the right.

I'll give it a try tomorrow  lol
