Re: passed part 1

Congratulations, this is where the fun really begins!
the best thing you could do is start giving yourself a running commentary when driving, even say the most simple things like when you press the brake, when you check mirrors, how do you deal with oncoming traffic, look left and right at junctions etc. This will be so natural to you however you have to transfer it to someone who potentially does not have any experience at all. YOU will have to take control. good luck and it will be worth it.

Re: passed part 1

Invest in CD-ROM something like Driving Test Success-all tests, which is £6.00 at Morrisons, it's about £10 elsewhere.  Personally I do at least one theory an HP test a month and have been a Green Badge holder since 2006.  Just because you've passed doesn't mean you should stop practicing and honing your skills and knowledge.

Just because I'm a driving instructor, it doesn't make me a dual control freak.

Re: passed part 1

I would agree with getting a DVD to practice on, practice, practice, practice, and remember to parctice, great advice from phillipdias too, start making a running commentary on all your driving, record it if possible too, this will help you to keep track of your progress,
