Focus 2008 Model - Any AA instructors that can help please

Hi

Anyone drive the new 2008 spec Focus that can help me with not being able to see the speedo from the passenger side.

As the AA run these cars there must be a simple solution to the problem without fitting a second speedo, do they just remove the outer silver housing around the dial?

Help as I'm just about to buy one and need to know what to do neutral

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff

The A.A. cars have the silver ring around the speedo removed. To be honest it's still a bit hidden but once you get used to the speed and the feel you should be o.k. I tend to find I can tell the speed without using the speedo.

Just got a new fiesta, has a neat little device on top
of the dash, passenger side, projects the speed in a green
light on the bottom of the windscreen like the H.U.D. on a
plane, so you can look forward and see the speed your pupil
is travelling.
