Re: ROLL OF HONOUR FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE PASSED THEIR TEST

Don't know if this is the done thing or not, but have a quick look at my site as I show all my test passes on it (if the pupil agrees). Look under "congratulations".

Passing the test is just a question of driving safely and consistently. If you've got your test coming up, try to relax, remember your routines and do your best. The examiner is not looking for perfection, far from it.

A big well done to everyone who has posted a pass on here as well as to my pupils.

Re: ROLL OF HONOUR FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE PASSED THEIR TEST

This is the thread where you stand up and get your recognition for passing your test.

If you have passed your test over the last few months, put your results on this thread.

This will serve a couple of purposes. Firstly you will enjoy doing it, because of the celebrity status you will get from it.

But more importantly, you will show others who are learning that passing is achievable, we can also have a look at what is the average df's people get for tests and also what the average amount of times it takes people to pass.

You can put other comments on as well, but do try to keep to the topic of passing your test.

So the format should go something like this:

When did you pass:

How many attempts:

How many driver faults:

What time was your test:

How many hours (approx) did you have:

Which manouevres did you do:

Re: ROLL OF HONOUR FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE PASSED THEIR TEST

Hi There my name is Paul and I have just recently passed my test last week. It took me 4 attempts so I am very pleased to have finally passed and be able to drive. I was looking online to see what's the best insurance for new drivers as it can be quite expensive. I hope its okay to post this link. I just wondered what people think about this fairly new app which apparently can reduce your insurance this is the site http://www.manlymag.com/new-driver-prog … ct-review/ please let me know what you guys think I would love to hear your opinions on this new app and whether you think it is worth downloading, thanks Paul

Re: ROLL OF HONOUR FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE PASSED THEIR TEST

Congrats on passing your driving test Paul, the fun now begins in being a responsible and safe driver!
I think what you need to consider when purchasing this type of app is the cost involved in purchasing it, and working out if the discounts offered on car insurance outweigh the cost of the app!

There are many products on the market now to bring the cost of insurance down and encourage safe driving, I am waiting for the Highways England  app to come out which will be FREE and it will enable you to develop a bespoke, broader learning experience to not only learners, but newly qualified drivers, and consequently reduce collision rates in the first year of driving, and reduce your insurance costs through better understanding of your risk profile. Watch this space!
